Aleah
Aleah joined the Bay Paws Team back in March 2024 as the newly appointed Assistant General Manager. She wanted to introduce herself to the new Bay Paws family! Aleah comes from the dog daycare industry with a background in both managerial roles and veterinary technology. She has honed her skills in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of pet wellness and care at Bay Paws Ybor. Outside of work, she enjoy spending time with her own furry companions. You could say she has her hands full with her own two dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses! She is beyond excited to meet you and your fur babies next time you stop in!
Assistant General Manager
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn began her journey with Bay Paws in June 2022 as a Pet Care Attendant. Her dedication and expertise quickly led to her promotion to Boarding Manager and now Assistant General Manager. Growing up in a household with a grooming and pet sitting business run by her mothers, Kaitlyn gained invaluable hands-on experience from an early age. This upbringing provided her with a strong foundation in animal behavior, health, and welfare.
Kaitlyn's commitment to fostering a nurturing and safe environment for all animals has made her an indispensable asset to Bay Paws. Her leadership is characterized by empathy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, earning her the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, Kaitlyn shares her life with two dogs, Piranha and Trout, and two cats, Ravioli and Lady, further deepening her understanding and compassion for animals.
Kaitlyn's journey from Pet Care Attendant to Assistant General Manager is a testament to her passion and hard work. She continues to inspire her team and ensures the highest standards of care and service at Bay Paws, making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
Regional Manager
Wendy
Wendy joined the Bay Paws pack in January 2024 as the Ybor General Manager and because of her amazing work there, she was promoted to regional manager. As regional manager, she is now overseeing all three locations! She is very excited to be a part of an amazing team and can't wait to grow with the company! Wendy’s credentials include over twenty-five years as a certified dog trainer with specialties in behavior & aggression. She is also a certified instructor for Pet CPR & first aid. Wendy has managed and/or consulted in the pet industry including vet clinics for over twenty years for over a thousand facilities specializing in building team culture and skill development. Wendy shares her home with her two Australian Shepherds Cedar & Onyx and her two cats Willow & Baloo.
Founder & CEO
Christina Holtz
Christina Holtz is an owner of Bay Paws Pet Resort. Christina is a Certified Professional Animal Care Manager (CPACM) through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC). She created and designed the Bay Paws brand and facilities. Christina has lived in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Mom to dachshunds Wrigley and Bentley, Christina understands the pet parent perspective of taking your fur baby to a pet facility and works diligently to ensure that Bay Paws provides both the best pet parent and pet experience.
